Nathan Parker is honored to serve as the 11th pastor of Pinelands Presbyterian Church (PCA), a calling he answered in 2014.
After their marriage in 2006, Nathan and his wife, Nicole, lived together in Atlanta (his hometown) while he attended Reformed Theological Seminary and served at a PCA church from 2004 to 2010.
Between 2010 and 2012, Nathan completed a PhD in historical theology at Durham University in frigid, icy, freezing cold Durham, England. In addition to loving the culture, people, and lively city of Miami, it has also been a great place to thaw the family out.
Nathan’s two great ministry passions are to see people come to know Jesus Christ and to train Christians to become devoted followers of Christ who know how to build others up in the faith.
In addition to the joy of weekly pastoral ministry, he also serves as one of the editors of the first critical edition of the Works of John Flavel, a project due out in 2020. In their free time he and his wife like to travel, show hospitality, read, and eat breakfast at Cracker Barrel.
